When he was 10-years-old, Robert Whitaker Jr. climbed a tree in his back yard with his younger brother when he mistook an exposed power line for a tree branch sending an electric current from his left arm through his body and out his right leg. After multiple surgeries and the amputation of his left arm, Whitaker, now 32-years-old, is keeping his childhood dream of becoming a professional basketball player alive.
